3G/UHD SDI Dual Link

3G/UHD SDI Dual Link Video Converter

The 3G/UHD-SDI Video Converter receives images in the form of 3G or UHD SDI Interface and outputs a TCON-based LVDS signal to deliver images to be displayed on a large screen. The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) specifications supported by this product include SMPTE 425-1, SMPTE 425-3, SMPTE 2081-1, SMPTE 2082-1, and above all, hardware capable of supporting Duallink HD-SDI.

Serial digital interface (SDI) is a family of digital video interfaces first standardized by SMPTE (The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers).

SMPTE ST 425-1

2017 Edition, Source Image Format and Ancillary Data Mapping for the 3 Gb/s Serial Interface
This standard defines three mapping formats: Level A, Level B Dual-Link mapping and Level B Dual-Stream mapping.

SMPTE ST 425-3

Image Format and Ancillary Data Mapping for the Dual Link 3 Gb/s Serial Interface

SMPTE ST 2081-1

2015 Edition, 6 GB/S SIGNAL/DATA SERIAL INTERFACE - ELECTRICAL

This standard describes the electrical and physical characteristics of a 6 Gb/s coaxial cable interface suitable for applications where the signal loss does not exceed an amount specified by the receiver manufacturer. Typical loss amounts would be in the range of up to 40 dB at one-half the clock frequency.

SMPTE ST 2082-1

2015 Edition, 12 GB/S SIGNAL/DATA SERIAL INTERFACE - ELECTRICAL

This standard describes the electrical and physical characteristics of a 12G-SDI coaxial cable interface suitable for applications where the signal loss does not exceed an amount specified by the receiver manufacturer. Typical loss amounts would be in the range of up to 40 dB at one-half the clock frequency.
